Eight days of hiking around Ronda. South along the rio Genal through pueblos blancos down to Casares. After rest day in Jimena de la Frontera walk back north through the Acornales natural park to Ubrique, then eastward through Villaleunga del Rosario and Montejaque to the yellow cliffs of Ronda again. Link to map
This route was not a first choice but was a right pick. Walking around 23 km per day on 4WD tracks and footpaths through olive orchards, under chestnuts, and corck oaks.
