Eight days of hiking around Ronda. South along the rio Genal through pueblos blancos down to Casares. After rest day in Jimena de la Frontera walk back north through the Acornales natural park to Ubrique, then eastward through Villaleunga del Rosario and Montejaque to the yellow cliffs of Ronda again. Its been ten years since we first ventured into Picos de Europa. In 2013 we went from the south (Fuente De), climbed into the middle of Macizo Oriental, admired Naranjo de Bulnes for a couple of days before descending into Sotres on the north side. We fell in love both with the landscape and the poetic descriptions of the routes by Miguel Angel Adrados in his guidebook to Picos. This time around we went into the western part with approach from Covadonga....
